Charlton Cultural Council grant applications are due by the deadline of October 15.
For 2023, The Charlton Cultural Council is partnering with the Charlton Public Library to host a collaborative Art Exhibit. The Exhibit will be held over the course of two weeks from May 8 - May 19. An opening reception will be held on May 11, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in Dexter Hall at the Charlton Public Library. Artwork submissions can include:
- Remembrance Pieces
- Special Art-Ability
- Fiber Arts
- Digital- Photography/Media/Video
- Drawing- Pastel/Charcoal/Pencil
- Painting- Oil/Acrylic/Watercolor
- Sculpture and Ceramics
- Mixed Media
- And other mediums not listed
Previously a part of Old Home Day, the Charlton Cultural Council sponsored the Annual Art Show in the Town Hall. The fine work of local artists in various formats were displayed, hanging on the walls, set on tripods or tables for all to enjoy. This year’s Art Exhibit will be displayed on multiple floors of the Charlton Public Library.
