Online Bill Pay
The Treasurer/Collector utilizes UniPay by Unibank to allow for electronic payment of Motor Vehicle & Boat Excise, Property Taxes, Dog Licenses, Sewer Bills, Birth, Death, Marriage Certificates and many other payments online.

All fees for online service are assessed by UniBank. There is a $0.50 fee for Electronic Check. Fees are assessed in accordance with the following Fee Schedule for MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit card payments.
Payments for bills are also accepted in person during normal business hours or 24/7 at the Town Hall Drop Box (Check Payments Only).
Municipal Lien Certificates
Municipal Lien Certificates from the Town of Charlton can be requested here: MLC Request Form. The fee for Municipal Lien Certificates is $25.00 per parcel.

Town Clerk Dog Licenses
Applications are accepted by email and hard copy.
Please mail or use drop box for new dogs Dog License Application or mail to Town Clerk.
Renewals of licenses with a current rabies on file may be paid online at Unipay. Payments may also be made in person during normal business hours or 24/7 at the Town Hall Drop Box (Check Payments Only).
Open Burning Permits
Open Burning is allowed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from January 15 to May 1. You must obtain a permit through Charlton Fire Department. You may apply for a burning permit here: Open Burning Application Portal

Participate in Remote Meeting
Most Boards and Committees continue to meeting in Remote and Hybrid settings via Zoom. Links to each meeting access link can be found here: Remote Meeting Access.

Volunteer
Town government needs citizens that are registered voters to give of their time and talents serving the Town of Charlton. A Talent Bank Form has been established as a means of compiling a list of interested citizens willing to serve on a voluntary basis on a variety of boards and committees. Some boards meet often - some require less time - and some are busy at different times of the year.
